WhiteleyEaves understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal data is used. We respect and value the privacy of all of our customers and will only collect and use personal data in ways that are described here, and in a way that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under the law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What Does This Notice Cover?

This Privacy Information explains how we use your personal data: how it is collected, how it is held, and how it is processed. It also explains your rights under the law relating to your personal data.

7. How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?

We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason for which it was first collected. Your personal data will therefore be kept for a maximum of 10 years following your last contract with us.

8. How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?

WhiteleyEaves take all responsible steps to protect your personal data from loss or destruction. We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so. We will only store or transfer your personal data in the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the GDPR.

We will not share any of your personal data with any third parties for any purposes, subject to one important exception. 13. Use of Cookies

Our website uses Google Analytics cookies. Google Analytics is a piece of software that obtains data about visitors (you).

Examples of what information Google Analytics gathers are: What website you came from to get here, how long you stay for, what kind of computer you’re using etc. This tracking information allows us to better understand the people who come to our site and what content they are interested in. This will allow us to make more informed decisions on design and planning of website content. No personally identifying data is included in this type if reporting.
All of our activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.

Although our website only looks to include quality, safe and relevant external links, users should always adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout our website. The owners of this website cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website despite their best efforts. Users should therefore note they click on external links at their own risk and that our website and its owners cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links mentioned.

Currently WhiteleyEaves Limited communicate through social media platforms. All communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that our website and its owners participate on, are custom to these terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.

We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or if we change our business in a way that affects personal data protection.
